Virgin de Guadelupe, 2024 is a monoprint created in reverence to the Virgin Mary using the historical photographic process of cyanotype -- a camera-less photographic printing process from 1842 that produces a distinctive Prussian Blue hue. Skye photographed the sculpture in Guadalajara, Mexico and collected flora from along the banks of the Truckee River in Nevada to print this unique devotional artwork.
